The Best Year, 2014

“Barry, honey, the dog is barking…Honey? Hey, wake up!”

“Aww, gee, can’t a decent man get a power nap? Holy, crap! How? Jessica, get away from that tree!”

Barry worried their newest foster child may have tormented the poor dog just adopted yesterday from an animal shelter.

“It’s amazing,” said his wife, “Jessica was throwing a tantrum and next thing, the dog ran up the tree and continued to bark and wham, Jessica stopped screaming!”

Barry and his wife laughed out loud simultaneously. They knew 2014 would be the year a dog and little Jessica would find their forever home
