Feed a Hungry World

my little green lawn
dreams about the pampas grass
i dream of the stars**

in the form of rich rice grains
feeding the hungry worldwide

Long grain rice, tan renga, hunger, worldwide, nature,

___ ___ ___

Style: Tan Renga, starts as two writers collaborate to finish a **haiku. The goal, to finish a featured haiku written by one writer and completed by the second writer with two, seven-syllable lines.

Today’s haiku comes from **Jazzbumpa or JzB from Retirement Pastels.  I keep thinking how our human connections make as all related.  I pray for our brothers and sisters affected by Typhoon Haiyan that relief and restoration come quickly.

Written for : Chevrefeuille’s Carpe Diem November Tan Renga Challenge

Thank you

When it comes to being in nature’s wrath, people realize then we are pretty much the same.
    Perfectly written – solid imagery
(Corn for food not fuel so some can drive to the mall. Sorry, soapbox…the foolishness and arrogance while people are desperate and hungry)

why it must be that some still go without proper food in this modern world of ours is shameful. thanks for supporting the cause, Bjorn. 🙂

♥ amazing how much meals you can get with just one large bag of rice. do you favor any agencies helping in the effort, Rommel? just wondering – always so many organizations that come up after a disaster but one can never tell if the donations are truly being used for the ones needing it the most. ☺
