Nonentity Grappling

A new week in November and day ten with the Tan Renga Challenge. *Atreyee of Brew Me a Cuppa offers her haiku today followed by my two, seven-syllable line completion.

the Soul drenched in love
seeks nothing – gives everything
finds Buddha within*

gazing at nonentity
still grappling with its ego

Pondering this wonderful haiku, that appears to express unconditional love, I wonder often of  the strong-willed ego and how it manages to do its part well in keeping this type of love a rare practice – for me anyway. If you find loving unconditionally easy, does it come naturally or do you have a set plan/secret  that helps keep this worthy practice alive in your daily life?

Yes Sun,the ego wrestles till it attains freedom from it’s false image-as you yourself have pointed out in your profound completion-“nonentity” and then the soul is free-to love unconditionally:-)
