I used to have one named Homer. Now we have a Maremma which is the Italian version of a Great Pyrennes with a little more aggression (lovely). She’s a big mush to everyone she knows, but watch out weird strangers and foxes!

Homer is a great name for such a beautiful dog – hmm, Maremma, it’s the first encounter for me. For their big size, they truly are a gentle lot. 🙂

My husband is madly in love with Nala who was supposed to be an outside dog. Her bed is at our feet.

Nala is incredibly smart. Every once in a while she delicately makes her way on to our bed and snuggles. Adorable. She’s actually the most well behaved of our dogs. She goes out most of the day but my husband and son can’t wait for her to come in at night. She knew who to charm when we rescued her 🙂
