tan renga, november, carpe diem

Casanova By the Shore

A joy that comes with the Tan Renga November Challenge are the rich haikus selected and the process to complete the haiku in two lines, hopefully in a similar tone.  Today, *JRB of JRB’s Haiku, creates a vivid haiku scene around broken shells. Read his haiku first followed by my two, seven syllable lines.

by the shore
discarded lovers
broken shells*

lanced deep into deception
washed up Casanova grieves

On another much sadder note, my prayers to all the lives lost and those going through the devastation left from Typhoon Haiyan. God, this is so incomprehensible – beyond anything imaginable. In your love, hear the prayers of those grieving hearts. Amen.
