Hot River Stones

Day 4 of Carpe Diem’s November Tan Renga challenge. Today’s haiku is by *Becca Givens of Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea followed by my two, seven syllable lines. Thank you Becca!

I was thinking how wonderful stones retain heat…let me know what you think. ☺

caressed by flowing water
pale moon shines*

soft sounds of a gurgling stream
melts muscular strains away

That is a very relaxing experience. Just imaging it in my head, of stones and river flow calming each turbulent stressed out muscle. Clearing the mind, soothing the heart. Thanks.

something magical about those smooth river stones – how they can hold the heat and soothe sore, tired muscles. hey, i think that would make a great anniversary gift (u and wifey) – a couple’s massage spa day. *smiles* you can thank me later, IT. 😆

it is a rare treat for sure, Tslayer – thanks for your kind words. ☺
i have been reading your Tan Renga offerings by the way and enjoy them very much. the Google+ thing makes it difficult to comment without going through a million hoops. i’m hopeless like that. thank you again.
